Pinoy Krismas Tiangge Canada Returns for Its Second Year! A Celebration of Filipino Culture and Holiday Traditions

  • New Westminster, BC – The Inarte Society of BC is excited to announce the return of the much-anticipated Pinoy Krismas Tiangge Canada for its second year! This vibrant event will take place on November 17, 2024 from 11am to 6pm, at the Queensborough Community Centre, 920 Ewen Street, New Westminster, BC. It promises to be a day filled with holiday spirit, rich Filipino traditions, and a showcase of local creativity.

    The Pinoy Krismas Tiangge Canada is a unique cultural celebration, offering a variety of activities and experiences, including:

    • Parol-Making Arts and Crafts Workshop – Join us as we create the iconic Filipino Christmas lanterns, known as “Parol,” a symbol of hope and light during the holiday season.
    • Christmas Bazaar – Shop for one-of-a-kind gifts, crafts, and festive items created by local artisans and small businesses.
    • Food Vendors – Indulge in delicious Filipino and international dishes, bringing the taste of the Philippines to the Lower Mainland.

    This event is co-chaired by Lita Cabal, a dedicated community leader. Together with the organizers, Ryan Ferrer, a community leader advoicate and Michael Cabal, a long-time Real Estate Agent from Maple Supreme Realty, we are working to make this event a success. We are also honored to partner with ReyFort Media Group as our official media partner for this year’s festivities.

    “Our goal is to bring the community together to celebrate Filipino traditions and showcase the talent and entrepreneurial spirit of our people. The Pinoy Krismas Tiangge is a wonderful opportunity for everyone to experience a slice of Philippine Christmas here in Canada,” says Lita Cabal.

    The event is free and open to the public. Families and individuals of all ages are welcome to join in the fun, shop for unique gifts, and enjoy a festive day filled with music, food, and crafts.
