A big congratulations to President Robert Afan, VP Alex Imperial, and the current Ateneo Alumni Association of British Columbia (AAABC) board for another outstanding year for the Ateneo Alumni and their recently concluded successful yearly fundraiser Gala!
Held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown in Burnaby, AAABC’s “A Night of Hope” Gala was a huge success—bringing together the Alumni members, family, and friends from different community organizations for an unforgettable evening of fellowship, dining, and entertainment, all in support of a great cause.
During his address, President Robert shared:
“I’m grateful for this team—the AAABC Board 2024–2025. It’s truly an honour to work alongside such dedicated individuals. The success of this event was a group effort! And to everyone who joined us-your presence and generosity will go a long way in supporting great causes.”
Proceeds from the gala will support two worthy causes: the AAABC Scholarship Fund, supporting financially challenged students, and the BC Cancer Society, funding for crucial cancer research and treatments.
Special guest appearance by the legendary Ms. Joey Albert, an OPM icon, PLUS: performance by Ysa Santa Ana, RichCity Idol winner and rising local star with Atenean roots. The celebration continued into the night with DJ and dancing to keep the party going!
