Francis Gabo, lead vocalist of D’Angkols, echoed this sentiment, underscoring the importance of mutual support as communities rebuild. “Music connects people and lifts spirits. Now more than ever, we need to stand united,” he said.

Unity After the Pandemic

The pandemic created significant challenges for musicians and businesses alike, but events like this signal a pathway to recovery and renewal. Jonas Navarro of East Manila Ink Tattoo reflected on the journey: “The pandemic tested us all, but these moments remind us of the strength found in unity. It’s about revitalizing our sense of community and growing together.”

For Producer Joan Frias of Tsikenstarr Production, the return to live music fulfilled a long-held aspiration. “Quarantunes during the pandemic was intimate and unique, but nothing compares to the energy of live music. It’s irreplaceable.” she noted.

Supporting the Local Music Scene

Juvz Diaz, lead guitarist of Danger Blanket, urged supporters to stay engaged. “Every ticket, every post, every share—it all matters. By actively supporting local artists, we sustain the entire scene.” he urged.

Arto, a devoted supporter of the arts, emphasized the broader impact of such events: “It’s not just about the music. It’s about fostering connections and providing opportunities for businesses and individuals to grow together. Live music has the power to bring people closer.”
