Stars and more stars on ‘ASAP’ stage

  • THE “ASAP” stage at the Big Dome last Sunday was groaning with the combined weight of the brightest artists as Star Magic celebrated its 25th anniversary party on the show.

The premier talent management arm of ABS-CBN marked 25 years of discovering, honing and bringing out the industry’s leading and renowned stars by presenting its most successful recruits – Bea Alonzo, Angelica

Panganiban, Jodi Sta. Maria, Jericho Rosales and John Lloyd Cruz. The biggest love teams of today’s entertainment landscape led by Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson, Janella Salvador and Elmo Magalona, Liza Soberano and

Enrique Gil and Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla were also there for added star power.

The “ASAP Star Magic 25” episode also featured performances from Star Magic’s up and coming stars and love teams, new generation royalties, bankable leading men and leading ladies, promising kids and teen stars, reliable singers, notable comedians and even artists that many don’t see as often.

The two-part Star Magic anniversary on “ASAP” (May 21 and 28) won’t only dislay the brightest Star Magic artists and their showmanship, but it would also serve as the official launch of some of Star Magic’s 25th year-long anniversary celebration.

There’s the all-star music video of the Star Magic 25th anniversary theme song “Ikaw ang Magic ng Buhay Ko,” composed by JV Kapunan and music by J. Lukban, and sung by the Star Magic artists. Then there’s the formal

launch of the Star Magic’s official website. This new portal is set to be the go-to venue for anything and everything Star Magic. It would feature the most up-to-date events, videos, photos, news and other tidbits about your

favorite artists. It would also be the newest avenue where aspiring artists can audition. The most exciting part of the website, though, is its interactive section that brings supporters closer to their idols.
