  • During the 47th Box Office Entertainment Awards, Bea Alonzo, who was lauded as one of the Phenomenal Box Office Stars, gave an update about her love life.  “Wala, single but happy. Sabi nga ni Basha,”  she said in an interview with PEP.ph.

With this answer, Bea shut down the rumors linking her to John Lloyd Cruz.

Magkaibigan naman talaga kami ni John Lloyd. I mean, we’ve been working together for so many years. Di ba, normal naman yata kasi ako yung huli niyang nakatrabaho?

Bea explained why she and John Lloyd were spotted in Hong Kong together. She also denied being with him in Balesin.

“We were in Hong Kong because of the screening of A Second Chance. Balesin? Ay, hindi, nasa beach ako nun. I was in Amanpulo with my brother and the girlfriend of my brother. Yun ‘yon. Actually I was asked, nakakatawa yung mga kaibigan ko, tinatanong nila ako.”

Another actor being linked with Bea is her former Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon co-star Paulo Avelino.

Rumor has it that they were together in Singapore during Bea’s short vacation there.

Oo, nandun siya sa Singapore, kasama ko si Enchong [Dee] saka yung manager namin na si Tita Monch, kaya kinita namin si Paulo,” the actress clarified.

On her ex-boyfriend Zanjoe Marudo, Bea stated that they are in good terms and are still communicating with each other. When asked if there’s a chance of getting back together with Z, Bea replied, “Hindi ko alam, hindi ko masasabi ang panahon, e.”

On the other hand, Bea is set to work on a new project this May.

“Yes, I am doing a teleserye this May, magro-roll na kami this May. Para sa akin, sa mga ginagawa ko sa TV, parang kakaiba ito. Mas mature siya, relatable. Maraming makaka-relate lalo na sa panahon ngayon.”(J. leary, push.com)
