Lita Cabal: Championing Filipino-Canadian Representation in Vancouver East with the Pierre Poilievre Team

Vancouver, BC – Lita Cabal, a proud Filipino-Canadian and Common Sense Conservative Candidate, is thrilled to announce her candidacy for Member of Parliament in Vancouver East, standing alongside the Pierre Poilievre Team.

“It is both an honor and a privilege to stand with Pierre Poilievre and fight for the values that matter most to our community,” says Cabal. “The Filipino-Canadian community is the third largest minority in British Columbia and the second largest in Canada, yet we remain underrepresented at the federal level. It’s time to change that. It’s about time for us Filipino-Canadian community to have a representation in the federal government. It is very important to have a representation so that our voices will be heard and it empowers our community even better.”

We stand at a pivotal moment — the most crucial election of our lifetime. The choices we make today will shape our future, and now is the time to act. Every vote holds power, and every effort can make a difference. Reach out to your local candidate or their team to get involved — we need to connect with supporters and ensure they make it to the polls.

If volunteering or knocking on doors isn’t possible, you can still play a vital role. Talk to your friends, family, and neighbors. Inspire them to vote. Share why this election is so important. Most importantly, make sure to cast your own ballot. No matter the hurdles — whether it’s a packed schedule or personal challenges — your voice matters. Change begins with us, and it starts now.

Cabal is calling on the community to unite and embrace the bayanihan spirit — the tradition of communal unity and cooperation — to make a lasting impact in this election. Whether through volunteering, door knocking, cold calling, GOTV (Get Out The Vote) efforts, or donations, every contribution brings the community closer to having a stronger voice in Ottawa.

In addition to rallying support, Cabal needs voters’ signatures to meet Elections Canada’s requirements. She urges the people of Vancouver East to come forward and help make history.

“This is more than a campaign,” Cabal emphasizes. “It’s about ensuring our community has a seat at the table and a voice that will be heard. Let’s make history together. Be sure to go out and vote on the final election day, April 28th. For more information, visit https://www.elections.ca

Maraming Salamat po! Thank you!
