Vancouver’s Forever Young Seniors Society came together in a Fundraising Dinner & Dance party at St. Patrick’s Gym on February 8, 2025, a happy Valentine’s party filled with music, dance, and fellowship.
The event was made even more memorable through the participation of various Filipino community groups, including UFCABC, Circulo Pampangueno, Philippine Bagong Pagasa Vancouver, Dahong Pilipino, MASSKARA, San Fabian, PICPA, Pinoy Festival Alliance, Merryjoy of FILSA at UCW, Rotary Club Vancouver Mountainview, PICPA, Ballroom dancers and line dancing, the highlight was the coronation of the Mr. & Mrs. Valentine Scott & Theresa and all-night dancing with the spirit of unity and celebration.
The program featured a surprise song number by MP Don Davies, dance performance led by the FYSS Dance Group and MASSKARA Group. Guest included MLA Mable Elmore, Joel Castillo served as the emcee, with music provided by RB Sounds and DJ Mhel.
Congratulations to President Merlina Fayusal and the FYSS Board and members for organizing a successful inaugural fundraiser and Valentine’s party. The event not only spread joy but also highlighted the importance of supporting and empowering seniors in the community.
