True beauty is on display in Raphael – Lord of the Arts. Part of the cunning Cineplex Events in the Gallery series from Touchwood PR this one of a kind tribute to one of the world’s finest artists is exemplary in every sense of the word. Start your journey to the Park Theatre in Vancouver on Wednesday May 24 or Sunday May 28 To see what the legend is all about.

Done as a documentary here viewers should be intrigued from start to finish. Through the use of actors throughout this brilliant man’s career we see how a young boy got inspired at the workshop of his loving dad before heading off to Florence to help hone his craft. Beautiful scenery of this fabled city perfectly fit in with Raphael’s continuing education as he soon would perfect images of countless Madonnas with child.

Then it’s off to Rome where this man from humble beginnings  gets to rub shoulders with fellow visual Titans Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo. Together these ree would shake the world of art to its core yet it was Raphael who really rose to unprecedented heights.

Interviews with scholars help fill in important parts of this genius’s life. Just let the paintings do the talking as we are treated to scores of majestic paintings, my frescos and tapestries that are a joy to witness from afar. Effective camera work helps zoom in on aspects of these masterpieces with telling narration as to their derivation and hopes.

Each frame of this movie is brilliantly crafted which is a testament to unquestionably one of the true Giants of the artistic world
