The towns which will be covered by her district are Liliw, Nagcarlan, Rizal, San Pablo and Alaminos. It’s the same district, according to a source from
Laguna, which former TV newshen Sol Aragones represents in Congress.
When Congresswoman Sol first ran for congress, Azenith was one of her avid supporters.
“Pero, ngayon,magkaiba sila ng partido,” the same informer revealed. “While Sol is with UNA (presidential aspirant Jojo Binay’s party), nasa Liberal Party naman si Azenith.”
“Originally, ayoko sanang tumakbo for the position,” Azenith disclosed. “Primarily, dahil nahihiya ako kay Cong. Sol.
“Pangalawa, wala sa ambisyon ko ang umentra sa pulitika.
“Pero, sabi nga sa akin ni Cong Leni (Robredo, who is the running mate of presidential aspirant Mar Roxas), siya rin noong una ay ayaw tumakbo for congress, lalo na vice.
“Butif bybeing politician I can best help my fellow taga Laguna, as what Cong. Leni told me, why not embrace the position?” Azenith further related.
