  • It will be a busy, busy 2024 for Alden Richards.
The actor, who is capping a very eventful 2023 with his Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF)
entry with Sharon Cuneta, “Family of Two,” for CineKo Productions, said his Myriad
Productions will be going full blast next year.

Alden, who has been working nonstop since he entered show business thirteen years ago,
is happy to be recalling his thirteen years in show business at his thanksgiving party with
the press at one of his many businesses, Stardust, on Jupiter Street in Makati.

For 2024, he adds director to his many hats as his film with Heaven Peralejo will be shown.
He is all praises for Heaven, who, he said, had her own immersion in one of the courts in
    the city.
“Kailangan natin ng ganung dedication and passion sa ating mga artista,” said Alden.
When asked about a possibility of teaming up with Kathryn Bernardo for a second time after
their team up in the number 1 grossing Filipino film of all time, “Hello, Love, Goodbye,”
Alden said he is ready – anytime.

“Since ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye’ made history and may clamor din for a part two, ako po,
ready naman anytime. ‘Yun nga po, sinabi ko kay Direk Cathy [Garcia-Sampana], ‘Direk
pag nag decide po kayo ng part 2, kakansel ko muna lahat ng schedule.’ But then again,
that’s up to Star Cinema,” he said.

In the meantime, he is busy promoting “Family of Two,” a heartwarming drama directed by
Nuel Naval and written by Mel Mendoza-del Rosario. Alden, who lost his mom Rosario in
2008, said he has found a mom in the megastar.

Alden and Sharon grew very close while shooting the movie, and Sharon assured Alden,
during the movie’s special preview at TriNoma last Sunday, that she would always be there
    for him.

“Kahit hindi na tayo nagpepelikula, andito si Mama. Huwag mong kakalimutan,” said
    Sharon. (Malaya)
