    ID featuring Donny Pangilinan, Belle
Mariano, other stars Netflix Philippines is celebrating Christmas early this year as the streaming
service released its Christmas-themed Station ID via its social media channels
    on Monday, September 18.

The video—titled “Kumukutikutitap ang Mga Bituin sa Brgy. Netflix!“—
features stars of Netflix’s current and upcoming local titles going Christmas
    caroling.

Stars featured on the Station ID include Belle Mariano and Donny Pangilinan of
“Can’t Buy Me Love,” Zanjoe Marudo and Elijah Canlas of “Keys to the Heart”
and Alessandra de Rossi, Piolo Pascual and Sam Milby of “Replacing Chef
    Chico.”

“Christmas comes early,” Netflix Philippines said in its official release about
    the Netflix Station ID.

This is Netflix’s first local Station ID.
Station IDs are video idents usually used by television networks to identify
    themselves on-air.

The release of Station IDs is an annual tradition among local television
networks. Networks, particularly ABS-CBN and GMA-7, usually release their
Christmas Station IDs in late November or early December.

Netflix’s release of its own Station ID indicates its continuous push for original
    Filipino content on its platform.

It recently released the romance drama “What If?” starring Alessandra de Rossi
    and JM De Guzman.

It also announced that the series “Can’t Buy Me Love” starring Donny
Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, will premiere on October 13 on the streaming
platform, three days ahead of its free TV airing.

“Ang cute cute lang sa thought na first ever station ID to ng netflix PH tas
andito,” an X (formerly Twitter) user wrote. (Chuck Smith, Interaksyon)
