  • The Rotary Club of Vancouver Mountainview held a Membership Orientation Seminar for
    present and incoming members of the club. Led by RCVM President Via Fearnley (seated 3rd
    from left), the club intends to increase its membership roster this year to better serve the
    Vancouver community.

    FILIPINOCANADIAN REGULATED IMMIGRATION CONSULTANTS IN BC. Some members of
    FilCan Immigration Consultants group pose for a souvenir photo during their yearend dinner at
    White Horse Lounge. Representatives from RGC Immigration Services, MultiCultural
    Immigration, Kikumoto Immigration, IConnect Global Immigration and Polar Express
    Immigration attended the event. The group pledge to help more Filipinos come to Canada to
    help solve the country’s labor shortage problems.

    FILIPINO ROTARIAN COUPLE DONATES $1 MILLION DOLLARS!
    It’s not everyday that a Filipino couple receives a prolonged standing ovation during a
    Rotary International Assembly but this is exactly what happened in Orlando, Florida,
    USA, a Rotary event attended by incoming District Governors from all over the world.

    Congratulations to Rotary Past District Governor (PDG) Edna Sutter and spouse Martin
    for their generous donation to The Rotary Foundation to be used in various
    humanitarian projects worldwide. PDG Edna and Martin are the very first Rotarians from
    District 3830 Philippines to join the elite Foundation Circle of the Arch Klumph Society
    having contributed USD $1 MILLION to The Rotary Foundation.
