    Winner of this match could have gotten the belt as the new Mindanao Professional Boxing Champion. Gadapan is rated 6th in the Philippine boxing ranking while Marcial ranks 7th. Gadapan has a professional record of 10-6-1 while Marcial’s record is 19-3-1 In the co main event, Romeo Duno of the Pacquiao stable from General Santos City won against Elmer Colve of Pagadian after the referee stopped the fight when Colve failed to beat the 10-second count in the 6th round Another Zamboangueno Roel Aperece suffered a brutal knock out in the first round from Jason Mopon of Sibugay Province in the 104 division.

    Both boxers were making their first debut. The boxing event was organized by Kings Boxing Promotions of Zamboanga City.
