Rising Zambo boxer Tanamor knocks out veteran fighter in round 1

The professional boxing event was organized by Mindanao Professional Boxing Association and the Games and Amusement Board. Tanamor improves his unblemished record to 6-0 while Baja’s professional record stands at 21-6 both fighters are in the 115-pound brother, Tanamor, hand speed was to fast to contain and knocked out Baja on the 28th second of the first round.
Another Zambo- angueno fighter, Angelo Marcial, younger brother of former WBO Intercontinental Champion Anthony Rocky Marcial, won victoriously after winning against Quiben Abtina of Iligan City in the 107 lbs division.

Meanwhile, former WBO Intercontinental welterweight champion Rocky Marcial and Jonel “The Prince” Gadapan, a former WBO youth champion, ended up with a technical draw in the main boxing event when cidential headbutt in the 6th round.

Winner of this match could have gotten the belt as the new Mindanao Professional Boxing Champion. Gadapan is rated 6th in the Philippine boxing ranking while Marcial ranks 7th. Gadapan has a professional record of 10-6-1 while Marcial’s record is 19-3-1 In the co main event, Romeo Duno of the Pacquiao stable from General Santos City won against Elmer Colve of Pagadian after the referee stopped the fight when Colve failed to beat the 10-second count in the 6th round Another Zamboangueno Roel Aperece suffered a brutal knock out in the first round from Jason Mopon of Sibugay Province in the 104 division.

Both boxers were making their first debut. The boxing event was organized by Kings Boxing Promotions of Zamboanga City.
