Ampatuan clan deserves harsh penalty

In fact, if ever death penalty comes into effect again and becomes a law, the Ampatuans should be the first in line to be executed. The Ampatuans clearly didn’t show any mercy to those victims who were shot dead and buried alive , the former should also suffer the same consequences. The family of all the victims is in total grief and in search of justice .
Some people who were slain is actually the bread winner of the family and you can imagine the people they left is having a hard time coping with it.

Nothing could bring back the lives of those people who died in vain, the only thing that would surely comfort the family of the victims is to teach the Ampatuans a harsh lesson they won’t forget, a sort of payback time.

Martial Law is another alternative way that would put Maguindanao in peace but how long will it restore the whole region in order. Some think it would only trigger violence, as residents will be itching to break the law especially if the penalty is too stiff.

There’s also a strong call to stop political dynasty according to the experts as proven in Maguindanao, aside from the father-and-son tandem of the Ampatuan, there’s also Zaldy Ampatuan, who is presently the ARMM governor. Private army should also be abolish at once.

Therefore, death penalty is a must to impose again, that way traditional politicians would think twice before engaging in a dirty trick just to win in the elections.
People should persuade Philippine president Gloria-Macapagal Arroyo to bring back the capital punishment of death, which the later abolished in some years ago
