    Golden Boys Basketball Group Draft Picks

    Fr George Atok OLGC Golden Boys Basketball Group Draft Picks and Birthday celebration for the months of February and March. was held on Sunday, March 5, 2023. There were six participating teams: Team A, Team B, Team C, Team D, Team E, and Team F. The tournament promises to be a fun, competitive, and safe way for players to form brotherhood, friendships and enjoy the game of basketball.

    Overall, the OLGC Golden Boys Basketball Group Tournament is shaping up to be a great event for the golden boys players. With its focus on camaraderie, exercise, and good sportsmanship, it is sure will be an exciting tournament.

    Batangas Community Support Society Valentine’s Day party and Induction of Officers

    The Batangas Filipino community group recently held an exciting event at the St. Patrick Gym on Saturday, February 11, 2023.

    One of the highlights of the evening was the induction of new officers: President Mario Cataquiz, Vice Pres Reynaldo Villamin,  Secretary Virginia Santos,  Treasurer Jenelyn Cataquiz,  and their Board of Directors and Advisers who will be leading the group on their full terms. The group’s leaders expressed their enthusiasm for the upcoming year and their dedication to promoting the interests of the Batangas community group.

    The festivities included delicious food and lively music, and attendees had a fantastic time dancing the night away. The event was a perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day and to strengthen the bonds within the Batangas organization and the Filipino community in British Columbia.
