Fil-Am comedian Jo Koy graces inauguration of P1.5M-road project in Bacolod school

  • BACOLOD CITY FilipinoAmerican comedian Jo Koy inaugurated the P1.5 million
    road project he donated to Alangilan National High School (ANHS) here on Friday,
    Jan. 6.

    Veneranda Ortono, former officerincharge of ANHS, said that Koy donated P1.593
    million in August 2022 for the construction of a 589meter road project inside the
    school’s premises, which was completed in December.

    Ortono said that Koy also funded the ongoing construction of a library at Rafael
    Alunan Elementary School in Barangay Alangilan.

    Koy rose to fame after sharing stories and antics of his Filipina mother in his
    comedy acts.
