Dismantling Barriers & Fostering Belonging: An Anti-Racism Initiative Begins on May 4th

  • Vancouver, BC – The Tri-Cities Local Immigration Partnership, in collaboration with several community partners, will be hosting Dismantling Barriers & Fostering Belonging: An Anti-Racism Initiative from May 4 to 21, 2021.

    This initiative aims to deepen our collective understanding of justice, equity, diversity and inclusion, empower diverse voices, and transform our systems towards inclusion. Over 20 engaging events will take place over three weeks including keynote addresses by Celina Caesar-Chavannes and Jesse Thistle, workshops on anti-oppression, racial justice, inclusive leadership and allyship, as well as community dialogues on food diversity, decolonization and cultural connections.
