  • The One Filipino Co-operative of BC greets everyone Happy Holidays this Christmas Season! Christmas season in its manyfacets has characteristics just like a co-operative. In the co-operative, the members warmly greet one another with best intentions and wishes as they go about their daily activities.

Like the spirit of Christmas, there is sharing of resources, giving and taking that is fair and beneficial to both parties. We have many  instances in the co-operative where we help a brother or sister move from one place to another, share information and referrals, exchange and donate appliances and clothing applying principles of frugality. Love and good intentions are common occurrences just like at Christmas.

Thank you to all our Volunteers, and Officers, who have spent countless hours to make our co-operative a success in 2014. We call on fellow co-operators to patronize and be active  members in 2015 to raise another banner year for One FilCo-op of BC.

In behalf of One Filipino Co-operative of BC, we quote Marian Williamson to say Thank You!

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world.

There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people don’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automaticallyliberates others.” Marianne Williamson
