  • “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” the newest show to debut in the time period, ranks #1 of the period’s Top 50 shows when comparing TFC to its main competitors

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – According to the Comscore data released this March, TFC, the flagship channel of leading global Filipino media and entertainment company ABS-CBN International, is ranked #1 in comparison to its competitive multicultural networks for the period January 30, 2023, to February 26, 2023.

41 of the top 50 shows are from TFC. “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” the action-comedy-drama series which just premiered on February 13, topped the list, followed by the global edition of ABS-CBN’s banner national newscast, “TV Patrol.”

Another show that just premiered during the survey period and made it to number 7 on the list is the powerful drama series, “Dirty Linen.”

The results show that Filipino households prefer to watch TFC shows rather than those from other networks. The full list of Top 50 shows can be found below, where 41 are from TFC.

Comscore data also showed that TFC was the clear leader in terms of the number of households who watched their shows, with 205 thousand households that watched TFC over the period.

The data further showed that on weekdays, TFC reached more households across dayparts than GMA. This was also true on weekends, as TFC was the clear leader in terms of the number of households watching their shows.

ABS-CBN International signed a multi-year agreement in March 2021, which named Comscore as TFC’s first third-party measurement provider. Under the agreement, TFC gets access to Comscore’s best-in-class national TV measurement to plan, transact and evaluate their audiences for programming analysis and in driving ad sales. This partnership was recently renewed for another two years. ([email protected])
