Based on the popular UK original and a first in Philippine entertainment, the show follows two amateur contestants who will go through weeks of intensive training aiming to trick the viewers and celebrity catchers into believing that they are professional entertainers while performing alongside actual experts. The impostor who manages to dupe the most members of the audience wins.

On August 2, the hottest rivalry between two sisters ignites on “Nagbabagang Luha,” the highly-anticipated TV adaptation of the 1988 blockbuster film. The Kapuso remake features the country’s highly-talented stable of stars: award-winning actress Glaiza de Castro as Maita Montaire, versatile actor Rayver Cruz as Alex Montaire; dramatic actor Mike Tan as Bien de Dios, and seasoned actress Ms. Gina Alajar as Mrs. Calida Montaire.

Meanwhile, Atom Araullo gets to know the working children of the pandemic on “The Atom Araullo Specials: Munting Bisig” also this August 1 (July 31 in North America). As the pandemic spread throughout the Philippines, many children opted to use their time to find work and earn a few pesos to help their family survive.

As a treat, the Kapuso abroad can catch DongYan’s much-loved movie “You To Me are Everything” on August 8 where Marian plays the role of Iska, a simple girl who inherits a fortune from her estranged father. She meets Raphael, played by Dingdong, a rich guy whose life has turned upside down and now works as Iska’s business manager in order to reclaim his wealth.

Marian candidly shared how funny Dingdong was while doing the film and fondly remembered her pet piglet ‘Snowy.’ Now happily married, the couple shared these stories with their fans all over the world in GMA Pinoy TV’s previous Fun Connect.
