    Based on people data from Nielsen TV Audience Measurement recorded from January to August 6, 2016 (excluding March 24-26 (Maundy Thursday-Black Saturday) in National Urban Philippines (NUTAM), Pepito Manaloto is still the country’s leading comedy show as it scored a rating of 9.5 nationwide.

    Aside from being the unbeatable number one comedy show, Pepito Manaloto has consistently reaped numerous recognitions from various award-giving bodies. Its recent achievements include 2016’s US International Film and Video Festival Certificate for Creative Excellence Comedy Category; 4th Kagitingan Awards for Television Pinakamagiting na Programang Pang-Komedya; and 2016 Platinum Stallion Awards Best Values-Oriented Program. Meanwhile, Michael V. bagged the Pinakamagiting na Personalidad sa Programang Pang-Komedya in the 4th Kagitingan Awards for Television.

    The show also won in the 6th Enpress Golden Screen TV Awards as the Outstanding Comedy Program; 37th Catholic Mass Media Awards Best Comedy Program; 3rd Kagitingan Awards For Television – Bataan Peninsula University Pinakamagaling na Programang Pantelebisyon; 11th USTV Awards Students’ Choice of Comedy Program; 2nd Paragala: Central Luzon Media Awards Best Sitcom; Anak TV Seal awardee in 2015 Anak TV Awards and in the 13th Gawad Tanglaw Best Comedy/Gag Show.
