  • jameslashesjpg (1)Breaking his silence about his former wife Kris Aquino filing a Temporary Protection Order against him, James Yap insisted that he is telling the truth. In an interview aired over ABS-CBN’s TV Patrol, James expressed his hurt and shock in tears over Kris’ accusations that he made sexual advances to her last December 3, 2012. Yap said he was visiting Bimby, their child, and was about to say goodbye. He asked the child for a kiss and Bimby refused. James joked that he will kiss Kris instead and Kris apparently said, “Yuck yuck yuck.” When Bimby again refused to kiss James, the PBA player approached Kris and held her at the arm to kiss her. Kris’ reaction was that James was hurting her and the child believed her.

Yap told this writer that he loves his son very much and is truly hurt that Kris feeds the child negative things about him. Bimby told James that he does not like him because he is a liar. The child directly told him that it was Kris who taught him those things.

“Kahit paulit-ulit, I am telling the truth,” James insisted.

“I love my son, I hope the court and the Aquino family will give me the chance to see him again,” he added.

Yap swore that he had no intentions of hurting Kris, saying he should be afraid to do so because he knows the family’s position in the country.

The two talked on the phone about the incident and James expressed his pain to Kris, and reminded her that he is still the father of Bimby. Kris allegedly dropped the call. The next day, according to James, Kris called him and reminded him that her brother, President Benigno Aquino III, still has three years in power. James told this writer that PNoy is his idol and that he has high respect for the Aquino sisters.
