  • As part of the new sitcom Funny Ka, Pare Ko, Bayani Agbayani says he is happy to return to the Kapamilya network with a new project. But even though he does not have a contract with the network, Bayani said he is thankful for the blessings.

Wala akong kontrata.

With his new sitcom, Bayani says there won’t be an adjustment because he has always been doing comedy.

In Funny Ka, Pare Ko, he plays the role of Karla Estrada’s husband, who turns his neighborhood restaurant into a talent show for the community at night. The cast includes acts from It’s Showtime’s Funny One segment like Ryan Rems, Crazy Duo and No Direction.

Dapat lahat kayo bida,” he stated.

Working with Karla Estrada is also natural for Bayani who has known her for a long time even outside showbiz. Nagkikita kami at may common friend kami na lagi namin yung pinag-uusapan,” he added.

The first sitcom gag show from the ABS-CBN TVPlus channel Cinemo also promises to have guest celebrities in their future episodes.

It’s a family oriented show.

Even though his show may not have hunks in the cast (except for maybe Manuel Chua who plays an antagonist), Bayani said doing comedy has nothing to do with physical appearances.
