  • ai-ai-jedAi Ai delas Alas has ended the weeklong speculation about the photos she posted on Instagram last April 3 captioned “Formal Dinner… happy day!” In a report on “TV Patrol,” the 48- year-old comedienne has confirmed that she officially tied the knot with her 29-year-old boyfriend Jed Salang at Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, USA. For the comedienne, Jed was able to prove his intentions for her when he flew to and wooed her in US amid their lovers’ quarrel. The proposal came after they kissed and made up. Asked who adjusts more in their May- December romance, Ai Ai said, “Sa totoo? Si Jed. And surprisingly siya. I think 60-40: 60 siya, 40 ako.” She added: “I love him also pero siguro mas maganda naman ‘yun para, kasi siya yung lalaki supposed to be siya yung magdadala ng relasyon din.” Albeit they have a 20-year age gap, the relationship has the support of her three children (Sancho, Sean Nicolo, and Sophia). Even Ai Ai’s ex-boyfriend Miguel Vera attended the wedding.

Ai Ai admitted that they are not a perfect couple and that she’s gearing for other challenges in their relationship. “Wala namang perpektong relasyon. Malaking adjustment namin eh, siyempre sa work, sa edad, dadaanan din naman namin ‘yun and kumbaga lahat ng unos eh pag natapos ‘yun may liwanag. Mahal namin talaga ang isa’t isa so I think love is really bigger than the problem,” she said. Ai Ai is looking forward to have a child with Jed. The couple plans to have a church wedding on Dec. 8 in Manila.
