The duo that’s making news in North America! Their names are Ac Bonifacio and Lucky Ancheta! Both are 10 years old from Vancouver, Canada. They started dancing when they were pretty small kids; about 3 and a half years old and called their duo “The Lucky Aces”. The director of Fresh Groove Production Cesar Tantoco and Coach Mark Doguillo saw the kids dancing in different events and competitions and saw a dancing talent in them.
They decided to start a duo with these two talented kids and named them “Lucky Aces” Taken from their first names “Lucky and Ac” Since they started dancing, they joined different big Hip Hop dance competitions locally and internationally mostly all over the Pacific Northwest including The World of Dance of Paul Mitchell and Hip Hop International and bringing home trophies, awards, certificates, and cash prizes. They made some appearances in different concerts of big stars from the Philippines here in Vancouver, interviewed in different radio stations, featured in The Province Newspaper and invited for an interview as performed as well in CBC Global News TV Channel 11 Shaw Cable.
Some of their events were PNE Finalist of 2013, Champion in Surrey Festival of Dance, Next Level HipHop Competitions, Peek Invitational, World of Dance Vancouver and Prelims Champion in Junior Division for World HipHop International 2014. They are also in commercials, music videos and were bringing home trophies, awards, certificates, and cash prizes. They made some appearances in different concerts of big stars from the Philippines here in Vancouver, interviewed in different radio stations, featured in The Province Newspaper and invited for an interview as performed as well in CBC Global News TV Channel 11 Shaw Cable.

Performed also in many charity events all over the lower mainland including Smiles for Children and for Children Hospital Events. They also auditioned in America’s Best Dance Crew of Randy Jackson in LA and New York and made it up to Medical Stage.
Inspite of their busy schedules as students and kids to their parents, they don’t miss their dance practices wish are almost everyday in Fresh Groove Production in Richmond BC. So far the biggest achievements they got aside from the above mentioned was in Hollywood movies “Step Up 5 All In”. They got selected and shot for many days in different locations here in Downtown Vancouver, and now showing in the Philippines.
Another major event happened in North Vancouver when Director Kenny Ortega (Director of Michael Jackson “This is It” and High School Musical movies) and Paul Becker (Internationally knows director and choreographer of Whimpy Kids and Twilight movies and producer of Canada’s Got Talent) held an audition for a Disney movie. Again thousands of hiphop dancers and actors lined up for auditions and they made it again and will start shooting this year, 2014.
Presently, AC and Lucky of Lucky Aces and their group “Fresh 2.0” are working hard again and sweating everyday in Fresh Groove Production studio in preparation for The World HipHop International 2014 Las Vegas Nevada USA where in 45 countries are competing including Canada and the Philippines.
Once again they will proudly represent Canada for the third time in a big and prestigious Hiphop dance competition well known as “Olympic Hiphop Dance Competition of The World” And recently as their talents grow, the big tv network in the Philippines “GMA Network Channel 7” and their famous Showbiz and celebrity show, “Startalk” hosted by Joey De Leon, Heart Evangelista and Lolit Solis featured the Lucky Aces aired last July 19 2014 , Saturday Philippine time with the headline “A duo of Filipino kids making waves in North America”.
