A festival of laughs and heartaches coalesce in Love Sarah. Sure to tug at your heartstrings this romantic soufflé of emotions is fresh and exciting – and so inviting.

Brought to Canada by way of Route 504 PR do yourself a favour by taking in this small minded but big-hearted treat. Order it through the Cineplex Store,
Apple, Google Play or Video on Demand.

Family means everything. Or so it should. It’s all about Sarah. Things take a turn for the worse when this impressionable chef in the making dies rather abruptly leaving everyone in her life taken aback. Desperate to open a planned bakery partner in the wings Isabella is an emotional wreck. That never say die attitude embodied by Shelley Conn is put to the test and strained to the max.

Somehow other members of Sarah’s life come out of the woodwork in the wake of her passing, So the big question is can this motley crew somehow keep Sarah’s dream alive and maybe, just maybe become friends.

To coin an Old Beatles hit “we can work it out” turns out to be a wayward rallying cry as Sarah’s mom Mimi and daughter Clarissa enter the fray. Giving it all to stay the course and perhaps become winners are Celia Imrie and Shannon Target. Oh, and let’s not forget a little on again off again romance thrown in for good measure. Come to think of it can chef for hire Alex measure up to help the ladies out in the crunch in the kitchen.? Trust Max Parker to intervene when the going gets tough as this bakery tries to hold its own.

Set in merry old modern England Love Sarah is a nice old-fashioned charmer. It’s all about struggle both in the work force and In life. Sometimes we all need a feel-good movie and Love Sarah fills the void admirably well thanks to heartfelt performances and a timeless message of love and hope. Something that all too often is in short supply in this COVID-19 laced world.
