  • Will Kris Aquino run in the national elections in 2022?
This was the question of veteran entertainment journalist Lolit Solis who promised to vote for Kris should she decide to run in the national elections next year.

But Lolit advised Kris not to run for mayor in Quezon City because she will support Mayor Joy Belmonte.

“Kaya looking forward ako sa tutuong balak niya sa eleksiyon, kasi kung tatakbo siya, iboboto ko siya talaga,” said Nay Lolit on Instagram on July 20.

But Lolit said she is so happy because Kris reached out to her fellow showbiz journalist Cristy Fermin who celebrates her birthday today, Tuesday,
Lolit said Kris gave Cristy gifts such as lechon, chamisua, birthday noodles and gift certificates.

It would be recalled that Kris and Cristy were not on speaking terms after Lolit shared on Instagram that Cristy allegedly got offended with Kris who reportedly refused Mr. Fu to join their group as co-host for a planned TV program.

“Katuwa naman na bukas din ang puso ni Cristy sa pagri reach out ni Kris,” said Lolit on IG.

    Lolit’s full post:

“Pero kung si Kris Aquino mismo, she will have my vote, promise.

“Alam niya at meron siyang capacity to do it. You made our day in TIPMMG, at sure ako you made Cristy very happy on her birthday. Thanks Kris. Iboto talaga kita.” (R. Requintina, mb.com)
