Mabuhay House Society Seeks Passionate Leaders for Board of Directors to Drive the Development of Provincial Filipino Cultural Centre

  • Vancouver, BC— Mabuhay House Society is excited to announce the recruitment of dedicated and passionate individuals to join its Board of Directors, as the society embarks on the next pivotal phase of a multi-year project to build the provincial Filipino cultural centre in British Columbia This is an extraordinary opportunity to contribute to the establishment of a cultural hub that will serve as a hub for Filipino Canadians to celebrate and preserve Filipino heritage in the province.

    As the Mabuhay House Society expands the scope of its work, we are seeking passionate, community-minded leaders who are inspired by our mission to promote Filipino culture, foster unity, and strengthen the voice of our community in the province. Our Board of Directors will play a critical role in shaping the future of the Filipino Cultural Centre, which will serve as a space for cultural exchange, arts, education, and community engagement for generations to come.

    “The dream of the Provincial Filipino Cultural Centre is moving closer to reality, thanks to the tireless efforts of our current board, staff, and volunteers,” says Mabuhay House Society Chair, Sammie Jo Rumbaua. “As the vision for this landmark project grows, we are seeking new board members who are ready to continue the legacy and contribute their expertise in areas such as governance, fundraising, finance, legal, and community outreach.”
