  • The countdown is on for the first Fiesta Extravaganza celebration in B.C.

The Filipino cultural event is happening on July 22 and July 23 at the Surrey Civic Plaza next to the city hall.

Organizers have been receiving numerous inquiries from exhibitors, from vendors to food providers.

Fiesta Extravaganza is the biggest celebration of Filipino culture across Canada, with seven cities, including Surrey, participating in 2023.

These cities are Toronto (June 24-25), Vaughan (July 8-9), Surrey (July 22-23), Niagara (August 5-6), Hamilton (August 12-13), Miramichi (August 19-20), and Montreal (August 26).

For Western Canada and B.C., ReyFort CEO Rey Fortaleza holds the franchise to organize Fiesta Extravaganza.

“We are excited to bring Fiesta Extravaganza to B.C. for the first time in 2023,” Fortaleza said.

“The response has been overwhelming, and we hope to see everyone at the Surrey Civic Plaza on July 22 and July 23,” Fortaleza said.

Fiesta Extravaganza is happening coast to coast and will feature a taste of Filipino culture, traditions, non-stop entertainment, food, goodies, and souvenirs.

The extravaganza offers the ultimate Filipino experience on so many fronts, with concerts and cultural presentations and games.

    Kitakits!
