JoAnne Lorenzana makes Every Day Valentine’s Day

  • US-based Filipina OPM singer-songwriter JoAnne Lorenzana is inviting us to give back this Valentine’s Day.  Perhaps because she was born on the day of hearts, the season holds a special meaning for her.  This year is much deeper as she is offering her latest song, My Everyday Valentine, for the Save the Children charity organization.  “When we give back, we not only make a difference, but we are also the recipient of profound joy as well knowing we contributed to someone’s life.” The singer expresses.  “Any day we give from our hearts is like making every day Valentine’s Day.”

A significant percentage of every download or $0.99 (roughly P50) the single earns will go to said organization.  Save the Children gives every child a healthy start by giving them the chance to learn and by shielding them from all forms of personal or natural disasters like the recent Typhoon Odette.  When it reaches a total of 2,000 downloads collectively on iTunes, Apple Music and Amazon, the portion of sales allotted for the charity will be matched by her handling company, NeoMonde Productions, and give that amount to Save the Children.

It is JoAnne, the Heart Diva’s way of giving back to the next generation        and tomorrow’s leaders. For a heart that gives makes every day Valentine’s.

JoAnne penned the lyrics of My Everyday Valentine, while the melody was composed  by brilliant, prolific songwriter Jimmy Borja (of Sana Ngayong Pasko, Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin and If the Feeling is Gone fame), with arrangement by gifted composer-arranger & one of NeoColours founding members, Jimmy Antiporda.

The sweet, easy-listening/pop ballad reminds those who cherish love that the emotions and memories it evokes from the very beginning of one’s love story transcends the season of hearts.  Though it officially premiered online on last Valentine’s, the composition is meant to be an everyday love song.  It says that while expressing our love feels good on Valentine’s or any other season, it is even better to express it  every single day.

My Everyday Valentine is downloadable on iTunes    ( https://music.apple.com/us/album/my-everyday-valentine-single/1552179889), Apple Music https://music.apple.com/us/album/my-everyday-valentine-single/1552179889) and Amazon  Music  ( https://music.amazon.com/albums/B08VVYNTF8?marketplaceId=ATVPDKIKX0DER&musicTerritory=US&ref=dm_sh_i3R6i2ZNYIltr4ki0IJS9y0Gz).
