    Here’s a few of what to expect with your first in-car driving lessons.

    Pre-trip inspection walk-around

    Valdez and TJAY Driving School are all about safety. Hence, it is important to ensure that the vehicle is roadworthy. Before driving a car, you will walk around the automobile to get a visual check of its condition. The tires must be in good shape. Also, no lights are cracked or broken.

    Learn car controls

    This is sometimes called the cockpit drill. You will learn about the different controls and how to operate these. The car is a machine essentially, and its control system does a lot of things, like signalling to turn either right or left. Valdez and TJAY Driving School will also teach you how to adjust your seat for comfort.

    Appreciate mirrors

    Car mirrors are vital in ensuring safety. These are necessary for proactive driving. You learn how to check your mirrors and to use these on the road.

    You will drive

    You’re in for an in-car driving lesson, and this means you’re going to get to drive. Valdez and TJAY Driving School know what areas you can safely do your initial laps. You will learn not only how to go and stop. You will also be taught situational awareness or how to pay attention to a lot of things on and around the road.

    After your first experience driving, your instructor will provide a summary of the basic lessons you learn. You will also get tips for your following lessons.
