Pia shares experience in shooting ‘My Perfect You’

  • With her first romantic movie “My Perfect You” now out in theaters, Pia Wurtzbach said she wants to prove to everyone that she was deserving of her Best New Movie Actress win for “Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad” in last year’s Metro Manila Film Festival.

Parang lalo pa akong ginanahan, actually,” she admitted.

She said shooting in a remote area in Zambales for “My Perfect You” was a very different experience. Pagka-kailangan na mag-work, gising na kami lahat,” she recalled.

Being isolated with only the cast and crew was an advantage for the movie, she said. “Ang ganda nung location. Wala ngang signal dun. Mag-ba-bonding kayo so kayo kayo rin magtu-tulungan. Minsan tumalon rin ako sa tubig at nag-swimming swimming,” she said.

Although her work schedule won’t allow her to do a teleserye this year, Pia Wurtzbach admitted she is definitely open to doing more movie projects.

“Oo naman, bakit hindi? Nandito na ako and I’m always up for a new challenge. Gusto kong galingan talaga and if not, then I want people to see that I am trying. I’m really, really trying. I’m not just doing it kasi kumportable ako, okay na ‘yan, tatanggapin naman nila dahil Miss Universe naman. Hindi. Kailangan dapat parang na-earn ko siya. Ganun,” she explained.
