  • Maine Mendoza received a sunglasses Pandora charm from her eldest sister Nicolette.

The Eat Bulaga kalye-serye actress began her charm collection in 2014. During Aldub’s 5th montsery, she shared her number 16 charm to commemorate that date in July 2015 when her love team with Alden Richards formed.

She shared the note that came with the gift on her Snapchat account. Although both didn’t elaborate on the story behind the pair of sunglasses, it seems to have been an important memory for the Yaya Dub actress.

“Meng, because you can buy anything [and] we don’t know what to give you. May this remind you of the time that you felt really bad [because] you can’t replace something you lost.”

In 2013, the fast rising star included the Pandora bracelet on her Christmas wish list.

“I’ve always wanted someone to give me a charm bracelet. I want him (yes, I prefer ‘someone’ to be a guy) to give me charms (on special occasions) that represents me, my personality, something important to me, something I love; anything that is relevant to my life. I want to look at each charm someday and remember a particular memory or event associated with it,” she wrote on her blog.

In 2014, she received the bracelet and a charm from her parents a few days after her birthday.

Although unsure about the significance, netizens recalled Maine’s gift for Alden last Christmas which was a pair of Ray-Ban shades. She gave it to him after the actor lost his pair in a mall show.

“Shades? Christmas gift ni meng ke rj ?,” Instagram user abgldm wrote in aboutaldub16’s account.

They also noticed how Maine had a charm that read “Love is forever” and hoped that it came from her leading man.

“Yung shades n charm from ate Dub, ‘yung bracelet from her parents, ‘yung LOVE is forever — alam na this! Kc isa sa 2016 valentines collection ‘yan ng Pandora,” netizen cdbuhain wrote. (gma news)
