  • nora-aunorWhile many of today’s stars consider 60-year-old multi-awarded actress Nora Aunor an inspiration, the Superstar admitted that she has also gleamed knowledge from younger actors. Aunor related how “Padre de Familia” co-stars Coco Martin had been advising her to save.

“Si Coco pa ang nagpayo sa akin. Mag-ipon daw ako ng pera para daw kapag kailangangkailangan ko na, hindi daw ako mamomroblema. Kung sino pa ang bata siya pa ang nangaral sa akin,” she saig in good humor told ABS-CBN News. Aunor is grateful to have been given the chance to work with Coco, describing him as “napakabait.”

“Isang malaking karangalan na makasama siya,” she said, adding that Coco is “napakamaaalalahanin” and “professional.” Apart from Coco, Aunor has worked with another young actor in Alden Richards via the indie “Kinabukasan.”

“Kaya dumami na nang dumami ang mga anak ko, hindi ko lang alam sino ang ama,” she quipped in jest, referring to her younger co-stars.

“Padre de Familia,” Aunor’s first cinematic collaboration with director Adolf Alix, Jr., is a domestic drama that also features Joel Torre, Rosanna Roces, Ms. Anita Linda, Joem Bascon, Baron Geisler, Manuel Chua and Miles Ocampo.

Aunor will be seen next in another Alix project, the political drama “Whistleblower” with Cherry Pie Picache.(mb.com)
