Bae-by Baste shares toys with less fortunate

  • Sebastian Benedict, known to many as Bae-by Baste of “Eat Bulaga!,” participated in charity work recently, giving away toys to residents of an orphanage.

On Instagram, Baste shared that two nuns – Sister Franchesca and Sister Carlotta – visited him on the set of the noontime show and asked him if he would like to visit an orphanage.

Baste agreed and brought the children toys – some  of them even coming from his fans.

He apologized to his followers on Instagram for giving away the toys he got from them.

He reasoned, “…Gusto ko pong ma-feel nila ’yung saya kapag binibigyan. God bless po sa inyo dahil meron po kayong mga batang mapapasaya ng sobra-sobra…”

The post was accompanied by his photo with brother Samsam, and the Sisters.

The cute and cuddly kid from Dumaguete has taken the Internet by storm when his aunts uploaded on Facebook several videos of him singing and dancing in 2015. Those vidoes have since gone viral.

Baste also does Dubsmash, among other things he’s good at. He reportedly memorized the alphabet when he was just a year old, and could recognize simple geometrical shapes.  – Rowena Tan, MB
