What Alma Moreno thinks of daughter Winwyn’s pageant victory

  • Actress Alma Moreno is ecstatic upon learning that her daughter, Winwyn Marquez, won Reina Hispanoamericana 2017.

In an interview on Monday, Moreno said Marquez worked extra hard to become a beauty queen.

Moreno said she felt her daughter’s disappointment when she did not bring home any crown back in 2015, when she joined Binibining Pilipinas.

But when Marquez won the Miss Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas title, the actress believed that something big is in store for her daughter.

“So maraming first talaga at tatatak sa kanya iyon. Kumbaga, nasa history na ng pageant.”

Marquez is the daughter of Moreno and actor Joey Marquez, and the niece of former Miss International Melanie Marquez.
