  • winter-sleepAlthough more known for his award-winning dramatic turns, Coco Martin is expected to show off his funnier side when he joins comedienne Vice Ganda in an upcoming movie. “First time ni Coco na gagawa ng comedy film at ako ang kasama so masayang masaya ito for sure,” the “It’s Showtime” host said. According to Vice Ganda, the idea for the movie actually came from Martin, who was recently seen in the box office hit “Feng Shui.”

In-approve right there and then at ni-request ko na ‘yan ang una kong pelikula sa 2015 at pumyag naman sila,” narrated the star of “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin,” the highest-earning entry to the recently concluded Metro Manila Film Festival.

Martin described the movie as a “spoof” on their real-life friendship.

As early as now, Vice Ganda is optimistic that their movie will become another  box office hit.

The still-untitled movie is slated for nationwide release in mid-2015.
