  • The MVP Group of Companies, led by Manuel V. Pangilinan, launched the “Merry ang Vibes ng Pasko” campaign this holiday season, aimed at supporting Filipino families through community relief efforts and a culminating Christmas celebration.
The initiative featured a donation drive to assist communities affected by recent typhoons, along with a grand Christmas event last December 12, at the Araneta Coliseum. Participating companies included PLDT, Smart, Meralco, Metro Pacific Investments Corporation, Mediaquest Holdings, Cignal TV, TV5, Philippine Star, Maynilad, Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation, Metro Pacific Health, Philex Mining, Landco Pacific Corporation, and the MVP Group’s affiliated foundations.
The campaign also recognized the efforts of the MVP Group’s frontliners, particularly those providing essential services such as electricity and water during challenging times. Stories of their dedication and service were featured, underscoring the Group’s commitment to supporting Filipino communities.
The Christmas celebration showcased performances by artists including Maja Salvador, Apl.de.Ap, Sarah Geronimo, and Bamboo. TV5 and MediaQuest stars Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey De Leon, Willie Revillame, Senator Raffy Tulfo, Korina Sanchez-Roxas, Aga Muhlach, Charlene Muhlach, and Atasha Muhlach also participated, alongside guest performers such as Martin Nievera and gymnast Carlos Yulo.
Approximately 8,000 attendees experienced the event, which combined entertainment with stories of resilience and community support.
“We are thankful that we are able to bring together our companies and share the spirit of Christmas with our fellow Filipinos,” said Manuel V. Pangilinan. “‘Merry ang Vibes ng Pasko’ is a celebration of our shared values, our gratitude for our frontliners, and our continued mission to serving our communities.”
“Merry ang Vibes ng Pasko: The MVP Group Christmas Party” will air in two parts on December 15 and 22 at 5:30 p.m. on TV5, One PH, Sari Sari, and Buko, with repeat broadcasts on RPTV at 10 p.m.
Donations can be made through the Alagang Kapatid Foundation. For more details, visit the foundation’s official social media accounts. (Malaya)
