  • Mirasol celebrated her birthday on Saturday, November 2nd, at Element Vancouver Metrotown in Burnaby. She was very happy to mark this milestone surrounded by family, her children, grandchildren, and friends from the Filipino community and workplace.

Mirasol expressed her thanks saying, “Thank you, everyone, for coming and making this day truly special and memorable.” She then shared some unforgettable memories from her early days in Canada. While working at a hospital in Victoria, BC, she had a close call after an accident. She recalled, “After a long shift, I reminded my co-workers to be extra careful and take care because of the winter weather—it was slippery and cold. Then, as I was driving home, a black bear suddenly leapt onto the hood of my car, causing me to swerve off the road. Thankfully, I escaped unharmed after calling 911, but the experience left me with a lasting reminder to cherish each day.”

Entering this new chapter with laughter, joy, and gratitude, Mirasol raises a toast to the journey ahead. Here’s to Mirasol at 65—may the coming years bring even more beautiful memories!
