  • grammySocial media has been a game-changer for many stars around the world and their fans. Platforms such as Instagram and Twitter offer a level playing field for artists to share their new projects and to connect directly with their fans. It is also ushering in a new generation of tech-savvy musicians who are breaking down cultural barriers to show their appreciation for other artists.

The recent news that 17-year-old Grammy-winner Lorde has started following K-Pop’s resident “Baddest Female” has struck a very exciting chord with fans of both singers.

Although their musical genres may be quite different, CL and Lorde have found fans all across the globe who appreciate their unique styles and feel empowered by their strong female- driven stage personas.

While there is no hint that the two could work on a collaboration together in the future, that has not stopped fans from some pretty serious wishful thinking. The news has spread through the internet and fans are eager to see what comes of this budding online friendship.

Curious about what the two singers are up to on Instagram? You can follow @chaelin_cl and @lordemusic.
