 Boys on a holiday get a rude awakening in Sleeping Giant. Rare is it for an actual Canadian made movie to connect in the global market place. Finally Telefilm and got it right and Canadian taxpayers should be happy with the results. Timely and Poignant this mall drama is loaded with fine pe for aces. Do not hesitate for a New York minute to take in This D Film now screening at the Fifth Avenue Theatre in Vancouver.

            Sure to set off shock waves are a series of breakout debut performances from a trio of local actors.  Holidays are meant to be fun but the nerdy Andrew winds up in a heap of trouble when he befriends local Nate and visiting cousin Riley. Perfect casting sees Jackson Martin, Nock  Serino and Reese Burnett form a truly interesting comradery

           Parents and educators as well as law enforcement know that peer pressure can be problematic.   Well, that’s the understatement of the year as these three diverse “children” wind up in a series of unfortunate events.
