“Ang priority nila is their solo movie as a love team,” says our informer. “It’s slated to be released in July as their first anniversary presentation. Hindi sila puedeng gumawa ng teleserye hangga’t tumatakbo pa ang ‘Kalyeserye’ sa ‘Eat Bulaga.’ Napakataas pa rin ang rating nito up to now, kaya matatagalan pa ‘yan.”
So there. You can now stop speculations that they’re doing a new soap on primetime.
On another news, Phenomenal Kapuso on-screen love team Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza gave in to the request of Kapamilya actress Maja Salvador for them to kiss five times at the 47th Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation Box-Office Entertainment Awards.
As seen on the series of Instagram uploads by various AlDub fan page accounts, Alden and Maine kissed for five consecutive times, fulfilling Maja’s request.
“Dahil five times platinum, five times kiss.”
Moreover, in a separate post by a different fans club, Alden and Maine can be seen exchanging five consecutive kisses as they grant Maja’s request.

After the vice presidential debates, some folks likened Sen. Chiz Escudero’s speaking to the voice in Waze navigation app. What can Heart Evangelista say about this?
“With Waze, hindi importante kung ayaw mo o gusto mo ‘yung boses ng nagsasalita,” she said. “The important thing is dadalhin ka niya sa destination na gusto mong puntahan. Ganon din ang husband ko, dadalhin niya tayo sa mas mabuting buhay na gusto nating marating.”
Heart was there at UST during the first vice presidential debate to give her full support to her husband. She’s so proud of him as he remained calm even if the other candidates were all personally attacking each other.
“He’s always a gentleman,” said Heart. “That’s my husband, that’s my vice president. He was very good in the debate as he didn’t resort to mudslinging or muckraking like the others. At the end of the day, he really showed good breeding and good character, he kept his dignity, so I’m always proud to be standing by him.”
Heart continues to campaign for Sen. Chiz in the provinces. Recently, she did a palengke tour of Camiling Market in Tarlac. The crowd was so huge, so she went on top of a table and delivered her speech from there so everyone would see her. “Napakainit ng pagtanggap sa amin sa Tarlac at nag-enjoy ako nang husto meeting the supporters of my husband. They’re very warm and I want to thank them all.”

The movie stars mother and daughter team of Jaclyn Jose and Andi Eigenmann, along with Felix Roco and newcomer Jomari Angeles. Written by Troy Espiritu, Jaclyn stars as Ma Rosa, owner of a sari-sari store in a slum area in the city. Julio is her husband, Nestor, a drug addict, and they have three children: Andi, a nursing student; Felix, the eldest son who’s a tambay; and Jomari as the teenage son.
Jaclyn and Julio’s store actually sells illegal drugs to people in their neighborhood. One night, someone buys drugs from them and they don’t know it was part of a buy-bust operation. Both Jaclyn and Julio are arrested by cops even without a warrant and that’s the start of an ordeal their whole family will never forget. Hope the cast and the director will get to win some awards at Cannes.

How does she feel that her two leading men in her first starring role, “Alakdana,” Alden Richards and Paulo Avellino, are very big stars now?
“I both saw them grow as an artist so I’m very happy for their success at sikat na sikat na sila.”
What’s her role in “Magkaibang Mundo”?
“I play the daughter of Gabby Eigenmann and Assunta de Rossi. My dad dies at nakulong naman ang mom ko kaya napunta ako sa auntie ko, Gina Alajar, na ginawa akong katulong ng mga anak niya, sina Isabelle de Leon and Liezel Lopez. Parang Cinderella. Then I will meet Juancho Trivino, who’s a duwende, na tutulong sa akin. Kasama rin namin si James Teng from the last ‘Starstruck’.”
What does she think of Juancho as her new leading man?
“He’s okay. Matangkad, pogi, pambida talaga. Dati na kaming magkakilala dahil nagkakasama kami sa Sunday noontime shows noon ng GMA-7. We’re both praying na magustuhan sana ng viewers ang chemistry namin as a new love team.” (M. Bautista, Malaya)
