James Yap’s girlfriend Michela Cazzola gave birth Aug. 8 to their son Michael James.
In an ABS-CBN News article, James told reporter Ginger Conejero that she delivered their baby at 6:55 PM at St. Luke’s Medical Center.
Michael James is Michela’s first child, while the newborn is already James’ third son as he has two kids from previous relationships. Bimby Aquino-Yap is James’ son with former wife Kris Aquino.
Last month, James posted a photo of himself and Michela on his Instagram account, where he was shown kissing Michela as she was touching her tummy. He captioned with “Malapit na.” https://instagram.com/p/BH3YGiuBik5/
During the baby shower last June, James’ Italian girlfriend said they will raise their child in the country. Michela also told the press then that she was feeling nervous about giving birth, but she feels so happy and excited for their bundle of joy.
“It’s hard if you go through it alone, so you need someone with you. Of course, it’s a mixed feeling. You’re nervous because it’s my first time. But, I’m happy of course,” she said.
Marriage plans would have to wait as they want to prioritize their baby first.
“When the baby gets to walk, that’s the time to really do that. Besides, I really don’t want to get married if I’m pregnant. I respect those who are into that but, personally, I wanna get married when I’m ready. For now, the baby comes first,” Michela explained. (K. Valeza. mb)
