MSDS subsidizes Basketball League

Jay razon, the founding president of msds, announces today the start of its “new years basketball invitational” league. “We worked hard to get this league underway, we raised money to fund it, and we are very proud of it. While it cost anywhere from $775 to $1100 to join a similar league, our patrons only pays $ 575 to participate in this 8-weeks league. The reason is we are a non­profit society and a subsidize league is a part of our goals for the community,” says razon, a civil engineer-turned busi­nessman / contractor. 8 “All filipino” teams signed up to compete from january 23 to feb. 27, 2010. Participating teams abl auto tech, tmb contractors, fun guys, vtl express, triple ”j”, jardiolin insurance, south vancouver, sunshine woods golf, and pampanga group. The league ends on feb. 27 Where a get together-pot­lock-awarding ceremony is planned.

Games are being held every saturday at cindrich elementary gym, 13455 90 avenue in surrey from 11-4 pm.

Msds is a non-profit society founded on july 16, 2009, with goals of hosting sports activities for all ages, raise aware­ness of the important of sports activi­ties, and build its own center/ gym to host their programs and activities.
